I love a cake on someone's birthday!! Think it's a great way to celebrate
People usually have cake for birthday celebrations, but do you guys think a birthday really needs a cake? Does it feel like a birthday only if there's a cake?

I don't think it is necessary to have a cake. For kids they do enjoyed it but personally I don't care. Getting together to celebrate with food is all I need.

I think as you grow older you understand that it's not cake that is important but the people who care about you and whom you care are. So, for me absolutely not but for kids it might be.#4

First of all, what a beautiful cake! Did you make it? It obviously would be for a child? If you did make it, that is beautiful artwork! I love your question and appreciate being able to answer. I know that cakes are normally a staple at a celebration however I don't necessarily feel that they have to be present. Some people don't even like cake and would prefer pie or cobbler instead. The old saying, to each his own, would fall into play here.

Me personally I don't really like Cake so I'd birthdays don't really need cakes, as long as you're enjoying yourself!
