How to keep outdoor cats safe from fox?

I would like my cat becoming a outdoor cat. He is 1 year old now. He enjoys playing at the backyard. But sometimes he jumpers over the fence and walks around for an hour. I'm little bit worried about him. Should I let him go outside? How to keep outdoor cats safe from fox?

    28. Cats will do what they want and are more tough than you think.

Se girano le volpi forse è più sicuro non fare uscire il tuo gatto...

Not my garden but my neighbour's garden. You know, you can find fox everywhere near where I live.

Foxes generally don't attack cats. Other cats, dogs, people & cars are more of a threat.

Imo It's cruel to keep a cat inside (unless that's what the cat wants) they are adventurers.
