This is a creature I've never seen before,  shown to me by someone I met at the beach. It's called a sand flea. Have you ever seen one?Sand FleaSand Flea

    Yeah we get them all over the beaches in the uk.

    I have not heard of them.  I grew up on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, and I have never seen one.

    We used to see him at the beach all the time they burrow into the wet sand.

    That isn't what I call a sand flea although I see that they are called that and a mole crab. Any time I have referred to a sand flea it was a flea that was outside in the sand verses hanging out on a pet.
