Great Smoke Mountains, I have been there two times. Enjoy your time there.
We hiked up to Clingman's Dome in The Great Smokie Mountaun National Park. They say it is only 1/2 mile but it is a very steep climb. We had to stop and rest several times but the view was so worth it.

Omg that sounds so tiring. But I bet the view was amazing if you got to rest and look around. Hiking is definitely a workout for sure, especially going uphill. What did you see when you reached the top?
