do you guys prefer wearing glasses or contact lenses? personally i'm a bit scared of contact lenses, i'm very sensitive to having things around my eyes so lenses feel like a nightmare to me. what about you?

I do not wear glasses or contacts but I will always remember my high school physics teacher urging people to wear glasses over contacts.

Unfortunately my vision is super bad and contacts are my best option. I've been wearing them since I was 16. I'm 64 now. Now, what I don't like are the soft lenses. I've always worn hard because I have a high prescription but they make them in soft now. Also long story why I don't have hard ones right now. The soft ones I've had them for a month now and I still have a hard time putting them in, taking them out, and sometimes getting them to settle correctly.
