Pets

How do you deal with your pet wanting to eat in the middle of the night? Mine always wakes me up because they want to eat (even though I feed them right before going to sleep for this exact reason) and it’s starting to be tiring because I have troubles falling back asleep later :( any advice?

21.5 - The only thing you can do is NOT feed them in the middle of the night. I'm not sure what animal we are talking about, but cats, for instance, are very routine driven. So once you break that nighttime feeding schedule, it is their routine. Again, with cats (and I assume dogs) you don't want to leave food out for them to "free feed" as that leads to overweight pets.
Good luck! I'm not a vet or anything other than a cat mom.

21.6 - One of my babies waiting patiently for his food. The other just tackles me and takes what she wants. She's old so I let her get away with it  😏
