I just started watching Foundation on Apple TV. 

 

The show is based on the Isaac Asimov book series of the same name.

 

I loved the books but I'm finding the show to be a bit slow.

    One funny thing I remember from one of the books is this: There is a part where some characters are flying around in a spaceship and one of them is smoking.

The story takes place in the far, far future, but, amazingly,  smoking is still a thing.

I really doubt we'll see that in the show. 

(Actually, that scene might have been in one of the Empire novels, not Foundation, but Empire precedes Foundation. It is all one grand story.)

    Asimov was a great writer. His stuff is worth checking out.
