This thing is rather creepy looking.  Found him slowly crawling along our grill.  

Google says he's a wheel bug.  It also says he will bite and that the bite is very painful.   He's been evicted in order to protect my little dogs and myself.  Ugly Creature - Wheel Bug

Google also said they can beneficial because they'll eat other bugs but not willing to take the chance of getting bit.

      I wouldn't risk leaving it around to eat other insects either. Too much risk.
