Why is that the coins needed to redeem gift card goes up again?

Am so gutted, just think I met the 12500coins to redeem a £ 5 gift card, suddenly it goes up to 50000coins!!!!!
Don't want to save coins anymore...

Same! This is a fix for sure! I was literally 40 ish coins away from getting my £5 but then they up to 50k points! Wth this is a joke! Scammers

same here, went up to 12,500 a couple of months ago when i was close to reaching the goal, now I notice the same again when im within 150 of reaching the 12,500,
