Picked the first ripe melon out of my garden! It's called an "Eden Gem" and it tastes like a cross between a honeydew and a cantaloupe with a little bit of pear. Such a cute little fruit to boot!My first melon!My first melon!My first melon!

    Its not as sweet as the melons you get in the store, but still plenty sweet enough. It was actually more refreshing because it wasn't so sticky-sweet.
