Movie: me before me - Review event 5

Well, maybe this movie is a romantic cliché, but I really love it, I watched for the first time 5 years ago, after that first time, I had to watch it periodically and casually I had the time to watch it last weekend, this is why, it is so fresh, again, I decided to use it as my example for today.

 

I hope many of you had the opportunity to watch it. but if not, read this review and fall in love of this movie as I did. I have to add an extra information some of you may think important, this movie is based from a book with the same name. now you will have the opportunity to decide which is better.

 

 Well, this story starts with an accident of a man called Will, who has his life solved, handsome, with a person who loves him, rich, he loves adventures, a great job but because of a traffic accident he becomes quadriplegic. 

 

As you can imagine, a man like him was depressed to see how his life changed. In the other hand we have a girl called Lou, she is a very funny girl, pretty but the way she dresses is not typical, she has her own taste. She has an idiot boyfriend who has the Yo-Yo syndrome. she needs to work to help her family and this is how everything starts.

 

She is now taking care of Will, at the beginning Will is a jerk with her, but she really needs the job and keeps struggling with him. Eventually, as you can imagine, they start to get along and he starts to care about her, as she starts to fall in love too.

 

They started to spend time together. At the end well, as you can imagine, he dies, but he dies because he decided before meeting Lou, to end his life in an specific date, and the date arrived. She tried to change his mind but it wasn’t possible and she was next to him in this last moment.

 

At the end, he took care of Lou, he helped her father to get a job, so Lou can do something for her, not just thinking about others, and she sends her to France to make her dream come true.  

 

What are the parts I loved about the movie, well, three to be honest. 

 The first one, when they go to the wedding of his ex-girlfriend and his best friend. Yes… it hurt!!!.

 

 The second part I really really really loved was Lou’s birthday!!! When he gave to her the pair of yellow and black stockings, I love the way she reacted!! 

 

 And the third (spoiler warning) part ha ha ha, is not a part, is the way the ex-boyfriend, yes!!!! Ex-boyfriend, notice she is not so secure now and starts being jealous and of course they don’t end up together.

 

I hope you like my review and love this movie as I do, and if you haven’t seen the movie… don’t wait more!!! The weekend is coming and you will have time
