Schindler's List

German businessman Oskar Schindler, an opportunistic war profiteer and member of the Nazi Party, saves over a thousand Jewish refugees from the Holocaust by employing them in his enamelware factory in Kraków, Poland. Risking his own life and fortune, Schindler uses his influence and resources to protect his workers from persecution and certain death, ultimately realizing the true cost of human life and the power of compassion in the face of unspeakable evil.
