My apologies, my grandmother confirmed that as well. I was so little when we had him. She said my great grandfather found him, very fragile, brought him home and basically rescued him. Most likely why I never seen another like him. Once again I apologize for calling it a dog, I only knew mine as one until I spoke with my grandmother today
