She was a stray that showed up as a kitten in the forest where my parents live. My nephew and I were naming her together. I liked Cleopatra, or Cleo. My nephew vetoed that right away. He came up with Stormy since she was the color of a storm cloud AND a storm happened to be rolling in during the naming process. The name very much suits her.
