How old are the cats currently? If she's just got a kittenopia bug then maybe look into possibly fostering kittens from your local animal shelter. Then it's  a win win for everyone! Kitten season wears away as summer dwindles down and she can have fresh new batch of kittens every 4-6 weeks I believe? Depends on how young of a litter is when you get them really I guess. All the cute kitteness one can crave with |0| long term commitment. Plus this time of year shelters are just SWAMPED with liter abandonment. left, right, up, down, up, down, b, a, start.

I also have a cat because my daughter wants it, but even just one cat is too much for me. I would say No more cat.

I have a relative that always has multiple cats. Unfortunately,  they always seem to have at least one that has medical problems and doesn't use the litter box. I used to have a cat, but as I got older I developed allergies. Now we are a no pet household.
