Drinking more water 💧 (update)

So I've been trying to figure out how to get myself to drink more water. As a (recovering?) soda addict, plain water is just so unappetizing I'll just drink nothing if that's all I have. But flavored waters almost always have some kind of sweetener in them and there is not a non-high-fructose-corn-syrup sweetener that I can stand. Awhile ago I discovered hint water, which is great! Except that it's pretty expensive and I really hate contributing to the single-use plastics problem. After hearing about air up from a handful of YouTubers, I decided to give it a shot! It's a special water bottle with scent pods that basically scents the water as you drink it, rather than actually adding anything to the water. It took a little getting used to, but now that I've got the hang of it, I like it alot! I've had it a few days now and have drunk 1 1/2 bottles of water each day (as opposed to a sip here and there when my mouth feels too dry for soda).

It's a great system! I know the bottle is 22 oz, so I can calculate how much I'm drinking by how often I refill it 😅

Does it actually work or can you feel your drinking water as I don't see how the smells can change your taste of the water as the second you take the bottle away to swallow the smell must stop

Well, it actually works by allowing scented air to pass through the straw as you sip on it. So you are "sipping" some air. That scented air stays in your mouth until you swallow the water, so its like you're "tasting" it.

I heard it was half your body weight in ounces. Either way, I'm definitely not drinking enough (yet).

Yeah I think I firstsaw them on Instagram ads and I was very intrigued but held off. Then once I heard good things from a couple YouTube, I figured it was time I gave it a try!

Took me a while to get used to water.Ditched soda for "squash" but now I don't even have that just plain water.Buying a water filter was a gamechanger it tastes so much better and fresher.

What is "squash"? 🤔 yeah a water filter is definitely a must-have! Tap water on its own so often tastes like dirt and metal.
