Looks good. How do you cook collards? Just curious. Only tried once before and my mom felt like they never got tender enough, even though they were cooked for a very long time

How long was your long time. Usually I cook them in a lot of seasoned water for at least 2-3 hours. I also cut them into rather small pieces or 'bruise' the leaves to break the fibers down a bit) which kind of cuts the cooking time down a bit. My mom use to put a splash of vinegar in the water. I don't care for vinegar in mine.

That is VERY long! I cooked them about an hour and thought that was too much lol! Okay I guess collards are just super tough. Massaging the leaves with vinegar or lemon juice should make them more tender I imagine. Learned to do that for kale leaves once. I will give collards another go
