Did you try high bar or low bar squats?
Most people can squat more low bar than they can high bar.
If you want to build power and increase strength, a high bar squat may be best.
If you want to build the muscles of your posterior chain and challenge your balance and core strength, then a low bar squat good for you.
I prefer low bar squat which seems easy to do.
