Apple disables Siri AI waitlist in iOS 27, with one exception

9to5Mac • November 4, 2026 • technology

Key Points:

Apple has removed the standard waitlist for accessing Siri AI in iOS 27, now only employing it during periods of high demand.
Users can enable Siri AI more quickly by tapping "Try Siri AI (Beta)" in Settings, with the AI downloading automatically without delay under normal conditions.
The initial waitlist was used to manage server load and ensure stable rollout, but after nearly two months, Apple has relaxed this restriction.
This change aims to improve user experience by making Siri AI more readily available to iPhone users running iOS 27.
