Dodgers, Braves Announce NLDS Rosters

Key Points:

• The NL West champion Dodgers will host the NL East champion Braves in Game 1 of the NLDS, with Tarik Skubal starting for the Dodgers and Dylan Dodd opening in a bullpen game for Atlanta.
• The Braves made three roster changes from their Wild Card Series, adding pitchers AJ Smith-Shawver and JR Ritchie and outfielder Lane Thomas to strengthen their pitching depth against the Dodgers' strong offense.
• The Dodgers activated reliever Edgardo Henriquez from the injured list and included experienced bullpen arms Edwin Diaz and Kris Bubic, despite their recent inconsistent performances, opting for experience over recent results.
• The Dodgers left out some healthy and productive pitchers like Justin Wrobleski and Jack Dreyer, while bench spots went to Josue De Paula and Hyeseong Kim, with Kim expected to serve as a pinch-runner despite limited recent MLB play.
• Braves' roster features key players including catchers Drake Baldwin and Sean Murphy, infielders like Ozzie Albies and Matt Olson, outfielders Ronald Acuna Jr. and Michael Harris II, and a deep pitching staff led by Chris Sale and Dylan Dodd.
