Key Points:
- Football Manager 27 will be available to play for free on PC and Mac for five days from October 29th to November 3rd, marking a first for the series and an industry first for similar games.
- The free play period precedes a paid 'launch preview' available to those who pre-order the game, with pre-orders opening alongside the free period and offering a 10% discount.
- Player progress during the free and preview periods will carry over to the full game launching on November 10th, including for Xbox Game Pass users.
- FM27 aims to address criticisms of FM26, which suffered from a negative reception due to missing features and a difficult interface following a major engine transition to Unity.
- The new installment promises an improved, more intuitive interface and new features like Tactical Tweaks, with the free trial signaling Sports Interactive's confidence in regaining player trust after a challenging year.
