Key Points:
- Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Buds On, its first clip-on style wireless earbuds designed for comfort and safety during outdoor activities, featuring an open-ear design that allows for extended wear without blocking the ear canal.
- The earbuds use Qualcomm's Snapdragon S7 Gen 1 Sound Platform, offering up to 9.5 hours of battery life, and incorporate TwinBoost speakers to enhance low-frequency sounds despite the open-ear design.
- Advanced audio features include automatic volume control, Audio Leakage Reduction technology to prevent sound escape in quiet environments, and a three-microphone system with bone-conduction Voice Pickup Sensor for clear call quality.
- The Galaxy Buds On support Gemini Live with Google Assistant voice commands and Bixby integration for managing voice memos, along with Head Gestures to control calls, alarms, and notifications hands-free.
- Priced at approximately $220, the Galaxy Buds On will launch in South Korea on October 27, 2026, with a phased rollout planned for other countries thereafter.
