Big Blue View • • general
Key Points:
- The Giants are reportedly considering a trade package similar to the Carolina Panthers' 2022 deal for Christian McCaffrey, which included multiple mid-round draft picks, but sources suggest they might need to include a first-round pick due to limited mid-round picks next year.
- Head coach Brian Harbaugh appears willing to make a significant trade to acquire the player, seeing an opportunity in the relatively weak NFC East division.
- NFL Network analyst Marc Ross, former Giants scouting director, believes the player could have a major impact similar to Saquon Barkley if placed in the right situation.
- Ross highlighted the player's recent performance, noting his ability to carry a team and his exceptional vision and hands, suggesting he still has several productive seasons ahead.
- The potential acquisition is seen as a championship-caliber move that could energize the Giants' roster and improve their competitiveness.
