The San Francisco 49ers attempted to reunite with receiver Jauan Jennings, who is currently with the Minnesota Vikings.
A deal between the 49ers and Vikings was reportedly in place, but Jennings ultimately chose to remain with Minnesota after discussions with 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan.
Shanahan confirmed that the 49ers needed Jennings' agreement before finalizing any trade and that their FaceTime conversation led to Jennings expressing contentment with his current team.
Despite the interest from the 49ers, Jennings has had limited production this season, recording six catches for 54 yards in six games with the Vikings.
