NFL Mock Draft 2027: Updated draft order and projected Top 10 picks after Week 8

Key Points:

• Week 8 NFL results caused significant shifts in the 2027 NFL Draft order, with struggling teams like the Chargers, Titans, Dolphins, and Jets occupying top spots, while the Buccaneers moved out of the Top 10 despite Baker Mayfield's passing struggles.
• A midweek trade sent the Chicago Bears' first-round pick to the Tennessee Titans, giving Tennessee two first-round selections and improving their draft capital amid their poor season performance.
• The New York Jets hold multiple first-round picks from their own struggles and acquisitions from the Colts and Cowboys, positioning them well for a rapid rebuild with valuable draft assets.
• The mock draft projects the Chargers and Titans selecting top non-quarterback talents to build around current players, while the Dolphins and Jets target quarterbacks Drew Mestemaker and Trinidad Chambliss to address future needs.
• Defensive reinforcements are prioritized by teams like the Jets, Commanders, and Saints, while the Texans and Eagles focus on bolstering their offensive lines with top tackle prospects to protect their quarterbacks.
