Key Points:
- Lamar Jackson plans to return this season despite suffering a fractured and dislocated thumb, according to ESPN and NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
- The Baltimore Ravens have lost four straight games without Jackson, scoring less than 14 points in each contest, prompting the recent trade for veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett to boost the offense.
- The Ravens face a lighter schedule over the next month and a half, including games against teams with a combined 8-21 record, before finishing the season with four AFC North matchups.
- Jackson's expected recovery time is six to nine weeks, potentially allowing him to return for the AFC North stretch or the regular-season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
- Head Coach Jesse Minter has not confirmed whether Jackson has undergone surgery following the injury.
