Key Points:

Blair Murphy purchased the Grand Midway Hotel in Windber, Pennsylvania, in 2001 for $11,000 after it was listed on eBay to prevent its demolition, initially seeking a retreat rather than a haunted location.
The former 32-room hotel, now Murphy's private residence where he lives with his 10-year-old daughter Luna, is known for frequent paranormal activity and is rented out to paranormal investigation teams on weekends.
The hotel features record-setting giant tarot and Ouija boards, as well as an outdoor graveyard with artificial tombstones, adding to its macabre and unique atmosphere.
Murphy reports numerous unexplained incidents, including electronic voice phenomena and objects moving, with notable hauntings such as the spirit of Martha Cerwinsky and the "Man in the Hall."
Despite its spooky reputation, Murphy has no plans to reopen the hotel as a traditional lodging and instead focuses on hosting paranormal groups and pursuing Guinness World Records related to Gothic themes.
