Samsung improves Now Brief with SmartThings integration

• Samsung has enhanced its Now Brief feature, originally introduced with the Galaxy S25 series, by integrating it with the SmartThings platform, making it available across phones, home appliances, and TVs.

• The feature will automatically activate on compatible Samsung TVs (2024 or later) and Family Hub refrigerators (2021 or later) when users approach or interact with the devices.
• SmartThings' Family Care functionality now includes hospital visit and medication reminders for caregivers, along with a Care on Call service that shows key recipient information during phone calls to aid in caregiving.
• Additional SmartThings updates enable continuous monitoring of home humidity and temperature, remote appliance control, and safety features using robot vacuum cameras to detect emergencies and track significant changes in family members' activity and device usage.
