IGN • • technology
Key Points:
- The Switch Pro and Switch 2 Pro controllers share a similar design and high build quality, making them stand out among third-party controllers.
- The Switch 2 Pro controller offers additional features such as two rear paddle switches, a GameChat button, and a headphone jack, which are absent in the original Switch Pro.
- The newer controller includes upgraded "HD Rumble 2" for enhanced haptic feedback and can wake the Switch 2 console, unlike the original Switch Pro.
- Choosing the original Switch Pro controller saves $30 and still provides a quality officially licensed Zelda controller, suitable for those who don't need the extra features.
