Daily Norseman • • sports
Key Points:
- The Minnesota Vikings will play the New Orleans Saints in the early Sunday afternoon window in Week 5, with the game airing on FOX networks.
- Due to a scheduling change, the Chicago at Green Bay game was moved from the late afternoon to the early afternoon window, reducing the broadcast area for the Vikings/Saints game.
- As a result, fewer fans will be able to watch the Vikings/Saints game live, as many will now see the Bears/Packers game instead.
- FOX assigned Adam Amin and former Saints quarterback Drew Brees as the broadcast team for the Vikings/Saints game, replacing Jonathan Vilma.
- The scheduling change has caused confusion and disappointment among Vikings fans, who hope future broadcasts will avoid such conflicts.
