Key Points:
- New England Patriots' starting left tackle Will Campbell sustained a right knee injury but is now considered week-to-week, avoiding a major injury after leaving the game against the Raiders in the second quarter.
- Head coach Mike Vrabel indicated Campbell's recovery will be monitored daily, with uncertainty about his return timing, as he continues rehab and evaluations.
- Rookie first-round pick Caleb Lomu stepped in for Campbell, playing a season-high 49 snaps at left tackle and performing well, allowing only one hurry and stabilizing the offensive line.
- Lomu is expected to start at left tackle moving forward, with additional depth provided by rookie Dametrious Crownover and Marcus Bryant, who is eligible to return from injured reserve.
- The Patriots will face the New York Jets at Gillette Stadium this Sunday with a 1 p.m. ET kickoff.
