The biggest source of secret carbs are usually things like sauces, dressings, and condiments. It really depends on the ingredients in each brand.
For example; grainy mustard may have 1-2 grams of carbs per serving, BUT honey mustard could have 8-10 grams because of the honey added to it.
BBQ sauces and Ketchups also have a lot of added sugar, maple syrup, or honey which make them high carb.
The best way to avoid secret sugars/carbs in condiments is to make your own. You can cheat this by looking at your favorite sauce's ingredient list, and recreating it without the sugar content or using a narutal sugar free sweetener like Stevia.
