Who actually does Keto diet?

Anyone on here that actually does the Keto diet?

Can you recommend it?....or find it hard to stick to?

What kind of foods do you have to eat, or avoid if you are following the diet?

I am curious to know if it works for people if they are following the same food plan etc ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”

16.69 I followed a "dirty keto" diet for 6 months leading up my weightloss surgery. After weightloss surgery, my nutritional needs did not align with keto.
A "dirty keto" diet, as I understand it, means you avoid carbs from breads and the grain food groupย  but certain other carbs, such as those from fron fruits and vegetables (preferably non starchy vegetables) are allowed in moderation.
*so I fixed my early fubars. I was apparently falling asleep as I wrote this and was all kinds of wonky!*

If you're seriously thinking about doing keto do a lot of researchย  lots of people on here will be posting anything to get their comments for the reward.Take everything with a pinch of salt and research the advice further before implementing it๐Ÿ˜‰

    Let's talk
I don't follow it as I feel it's extreme to deprave body of anything other than protein and healthy fats. As much as carbs affect weight I still prefer to include them in a good amount. It apparently gets your blood insulin level to balance out and good for weight loss and heart health. But on a long run it has way too many risks that has me questioning of it's something that I want to practice or not.ย

Keto is definitely hard to stick to, unfortunately.;( I have tried doing it a few times and always fail haha, life is too short not to eat pasta or chocolate or ice cream >_<

17.16 - Definitely avoid foods that will spike your blood sugar (simple carbs, starchy, foods on the high glycemic index) as those foods will knock your body out of ketosis.
