Who started the Keto diet?

Was curious how it got started? Anyone know?

Honestly, wit everything that I read, I don't want to. Better eat everything, in normal portion and stay healthy

Hi! It wasn't invented by a single person, but rather developed over time. However, Dr. Russell Wilder is credited with  first using it in 1921  to treat epilepsy and coining the term

Dr. Russell Wilder, from The Wilder Clinic, sought an alternative to fasting for epilepsy treatment.
He discovered that avoiding sugar and adopting a higher fat, low-carb diet could mimic fasting effects.
Wilder’s diet became the main pediatric epilepsy treatment, marking the birth of the ketogenic diet.
