Did the keto diet fail for you? Why?

I would love to hear from anyone who tried Keto and ultimately failed with it in order to gain valuable insights and help others become more aware of the potential roadblocks that they may encounter along the way in order to be better equipped to succeed in the journey with a Keto style eating plan.

    17.19 - The keto diet failed for me because I ate too much fruit. I made smoothies loaded with fresh fruits and apparently, carbs. Plus the natural sugars of fruit raised my blood sugar as a type 2 diabetic. Eating too much sugar can cause a spike in blood sugar levels, which can trigger the body to burn glucose instead of fat, preventing ketosis.
