Intermittent fasting question

Is it better to fast in the morning or the evening? And if one is better than the other, how is it better?

Well... If you fast in the evening, there's this period where you're asleep and probably wouldn't be eating anyway... 😁

Evening would be better as you will sleep at night

Whether it is better to fast in the morning or the evening depends on individual preferences, lifestyle, and how the body responds to fasting at different times. However, some research suggests that fasting in the evening might offer certain benefits over fasting in the morning:
    ### Benefits of Fasting in the Evening:1. **Improved Metabolic Health:** Some studies indicate that eating earlier in the day and fasting in the evening aligns better with the body's natural circadian rhythm, which can improve metabolic health, insulin sensitivity, and blood sugar control.2. **Better Sleep:** Eating late at night can disrupt sleep, so fasting in the evening may lead to better sleep quality.3. **Weight Management:** Some evidence suggests that consuming more calories earlier in the day and fewer in the evening can support weight loss and fat reduction.4. **Hormonal Balance:** Eating in alignment with circadian rhythms can help regulate hormones such as cortisol and melatonin, promoting overall well-being.
    ### Benefits of Fasting in the Morning:1. **Convenience:** Fasting in the morning can be more convenient for those who prefer to skip breakfast and eat later in the day.2. **Adherence:** For some people, it's easier to extend the overnight fast into the morning rather than stop eating earlier in the evening

I like to fast in the evening as it is very easy to not eat within that time frame because you can just go to sleep, also eating early helps to jump start your metabolism.
