What qualifies as intermittent fasting?

To be truly called intermittent fasting, is there a particular amount of time that one has to go without food?

 

Say, if you normally eat every 6 hours during the day but stretch it to 10 hours between meals, is there still a benefit?

    To realistically check you would probably need a ketone monitor. But having said that, giving your body a decent break between meals would be beneficial

    Di solito bisogna saltare  un pasto che sia colazione o cena o pranzo non è importante ma bisogna rispettare le ore stabilite tipo 16 -8 oppure 18 -6 ecc;

    Certo... Se fai il digiuno 16/8 mangi nelle 8 ore però è necessario digiunare per le restanti 16. Sinceramente non ha senso fare questo tipo di dieta
