High BP - why does it spike while eating?

Recently, I've noticed that when I'm eating and soon after eating my BP spikes.  I typically have normal BP but it's on the high end of normal.  But like, I said, it seems to spike while eating.

Trying to decide if I should make a DR appt or wait till my next regular check up that's not for about 5 months.

Anyone experience this?  If you do, what has helped?

Sodium. Is in everything.   Most people have a drop when eating.  Look at some lifestyle changes.

It usually goes up if you eat salty food.

It's pretty common for blood pressure to spike after eating, but if you're worried, it's always best to check in with your doctor to rule out any underlying issues. Keeping a food diary can also help you track any patterns and identify potential triggers!
