Can exercise help lowering blood pressure in long term?

I have family history of high blood pressure , I am wondering if exercise can help lower it ?

    Yes. I was told by my doctor that increasing my activity/ exercise levels will greatly help my high blood pressure in the future. It has helped me stay off hbp meds so far.

    For most people yes! They say "always consult with your doctor first on things",  maybe because there are some people who don't want to overdo things.. but everyone should be able to find some level of excercise routine that would benefit  blood pressure and overall health :)
