This has not been happening to me at all. I've heard that the amount of coins needed has increased in some countries though.
Is it just me or does anyone else's points disappear after they get to the 3000 mark and go to collect then points drop by 200 like you don't have them also is it just me or does it take many more steps to get a point 8 mean I was collecting a 5 dollar card at least once a month now it takes me 3 months to get 5 dollars and I haven't changed anything I do with the app or with my walking please say I'm not crazy

That's strange. I think there are still issues that haven't been resolved after the update. Email the company and ask.
