Family doctor

It's been 8 months in the waiting list, and finally, the doctor's office accepted my family as their patients. We will see the family doctor tomorrow for the first time.

I am happy, but a little bit nervous.

It takes long time to have a family doctor in Ontario.

How long does it take you to have a family doctor?

    78. 1-10 days depending on the doctor. US Healthcare prices may suck but at least we don't have to wait months.

I was about to answer but I realized I am on the Canada forum.  My answer would be irrelevant. I can't imagine having to wait months or weeks. What do Canadians do when they have a bad rash or a time sensitive problem?

We go to walk in clinic or buy over the counter medicine at drug mart.
When it's an urgent or emergent situation, we go to ER :)
