Saving for holidays...

I always hear people say that they can't afford to go on holidays abroad...

We save to go to New Zealand every 2 years as our son lives there...costs us £12-1500 each for return tickets....so.....

Every spare penny from wages, we sort stuff and do car boot sales, (and people always give us stuff they have sorted out), sell unused clothes on selling sites, buy cheaper brands of most food items, don't have takeaway food very often at all, and will take any little extra job going ...and all money saved goes in the holiday pot..✈️

There are lots of ways people can save a few extra ££££, if they only looked at what they spend 😉😉

We don't travel much but we also live frugally. I've never owned a new car, they're always used and that saves a ton of money!

    Great job
    Enjoy your vacation
  • #99 For us it's not the money. We use our free days to visit our families within the country. Then there are not many days left, at least in a row. So we prefer just to make some day trips.
