Still unsure what I'm making but I think will be my own take on a jaffa cake... so made brandysnap biscuits to hold the filling in....Dessert....

    This is the recipe I use but obs for industrial ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚....ย 

300g butter
300g sugar (castor)
300g plain flour
300g golden syrupย 
1tsp ground gingerย 
1tsp lemon juice ..

Melt butter, sugar, syrup and juice till sugar dissolved. Add flour and ginger can cook out. Leave to set. Roll on balk and flatten out put on a greased tray at 200oc till dark brown place over or roll up... be careful extremely hot ๐Ÿฅฐ๐ŸคŸ

    Jaffa cake is a (arguments aside) is a cake base, orange jelly covered in chocolate..... ive made orange jelly n will probably make a chocolate mousse ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹
