I used my phone it takes great pics. I took a couple 1st it was just Brite then I made my camera zoom in and when it was the closet it could go instead of it being bright, I really saw the moon and what it really looks like in detail. Thanks for asking its a neat Pic.

I was hoping when i joined the sky gazing photo challenge that I’d be able to mix day & night pix! The night sky is just so much more beautiful IMO, plus New England’s 100% humidity in the summer makes it difficult to walk during the daytime. Plus theres that amazing indigo/bluish color the sky turns right before sunrise and its the coolest time of day here now too.

Can someone please explain how I add a the required time stamp in order to follow the instructions from the challenges. I dont want to do something dumb & lose the challenge points.

Do I use the camera icon in this app and an option for the timestamp will appear OR do i take the photos with my iphone? I’ve owned like 10 different iPhones and I’ve never ince seen, found ir even looked for a time stsmo buttin. Im not tech savvy I turned 47 yesterday and asking a question this dumb makes me feel incredibly dumb. I promise I’m smart🙃

@ken f please stop w ur lies! 1 that pic i took is no where to pick from and not a he i am a she. Thanks here is another for ur dum dum self , this pic was taken just the other day when the strawberry moon went into affect. And u can still see detail in the moon.

@mooneygoddess not a dumb ? At all you can you pics you have recently taken on your phone and add the time stamp to photo when you open challenge.  You can either take a photo right then or use one u love from past . Hope that helps any other ? Just ask.

Same. I had 3 days of successful uploads.  Day 4, it conveniently did not work.  So, now I lost the challenge.
