Key Points:
- iOS 27.2 introduces a major update to Apple Podcasts by splitting the central 'Up Next' queue into two sections: New Episodes and Continue Playing, addressing long-standing user frustrations.
- The New Episodes section displays only the latest episodes from followed shows, making it easier to see new content at a glance.
- The Continue Playing section serves as a dedicated hub for episodes that users have started but not yet finished, preventing episodes from getting lost.
- These changes resolve key issues with the previous Up Next queue, improving episode visibility and playback continuity for users.
- With additional features like transcripts, automatic chapters, and video upgrades, iOS 27.2 makes Apple Podcasts a compelling choice for podcast listeners.
