9to5Mac • • technology
Key Points:
- iPadOS 27.2, releasing later this month, introduces a new Siri contextual popup that appears when text is selected via trackpad or mouse, allowing quick access to Siri with options like proofreading and rewriting suggestions.
- This Siri feature enhances productivity by integrating AI assistance directly into text selection workflows, similar to functionality first seen in macOS Golden Gate.
- The update also brings user profiles to the Apple TV app on iPad, enabling personalized content queues, playback history, and recommendations for different users sharing the same device.
- Parental controls are integrated into profiles, ensuring children only see age-appropriate content based on pre-set restrictions.
