Saquon officially active for MNF vs. Cowboys

Key Points:

• Saquon Barkley returned to play in Week 7 for the Eagles after a two-game absence but left the game questionable due to a back injury, having rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown on seven carries before exiting.
• Barkley’s status remains uncertain for upcoming games, with Dameon Pierce expected to take on a larger workload if Barkley cannot play, especially given the Eagles’ limited backfield depth.
• The Eagles lost to the Cowboys 38-21 in Week 7, with backup QB Tanner McKee throwing for 211 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, while wide receiver Makai Lemon had a career-best game with 67 yards and a touchdown.
• Cowboys’ running back Javonte Williams rushed for a career-high 155 yards and a touchdown, and QB Dak Prescott threw three touchdowns, helping Dallas secure the victory.
• Dallas Goedert led the Eagles in receiving with 48 yards on five catches, but the Philadelphia offense struggled overall amid injuries to key players, including QB Jalen Hurts and wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks.
