Sustainability and maintanance for keto

Is keto diet really something that can be sustained long term without significant side effects? 

 

And if not, is it easy to maintain your health once you come off the keto diet or does the weight just comes back again?

    No it can not be sustained long term and it is not good for your health

    There are long- term effects, therefore it's recommended to only do keto for 12 months max. In addition, as with any restrictive diet, it's a challenge to follow with limited food choices/flavors and you can gain weight once you stop the diet.
