Does keto diet make you smelly?

The keto diet typically consists of 70–75% fat, 15–20% protein, and 5–10% carbohydrates per day.

Since fat & protein components are more from animal-based food ingredients rather than plant-based, will prolonged keto diet make one smelly?

My question arose based on the fact animal-based fat&protein have a particular odor when burned whereas carbs smell mostly savory.

I also know of someone who started stinking increasingly after starting keto diet.

All this made me really wanna ask this since both diet & whether we're presentable are important.

Don't wanna be smelling person for the sake of diet.

No keto will never make you smell. I love meat and fish so much and even diary and I don't smell. So with this experiment on myself, I can say Keto does not make one smell

if can happen initially while your body adapts to the new diet but it should go away as your body gets used to the change

It can cause bad breath and body odor due to the production of ketones, particularly acetone, which is excreted through breath and sweat.
