What pattern do you fast with?

I have been doing 16:8 intermittent fasting for about 5 years. Now it has become a routine and I am maintaining the habit well. What pattern do you fast with?

Oh, it might be more helpful if you fast during that time. Please finish your meal between 12pm and 6pm. It doesn't necessarily take 8 hours.

It would go as start before dawn around 4am and end at sunset around 8pm

The 16:8 is very well know and I think a lot of people do them. 16 hrs of fasting and 8 hrs eating. If the goal is to lose weight, you may not want to overeat within that 8hrs window. You still have to maintain calorie deficit.

Perhaps change it up a bit you might see greater results.

Yes. They say it is more effective if you fast for 24 hours, but that is too difficult.

It depends from day to day, mainly 16:8, but sometimes I increase the fasting time.

The meaning of 16:8 is a diet method that involves fasting for 16 hours and eating healthy food within 8 hours. They say the longer the fasting, the better.

I also sometimes have long fasting periods.

You can definitely flex your time cycle but make sure you can stick to it.

I am happy to hear it is successful for you. I just recently started the same one you are on. Wish me luck.

Good luck. If you do it for about two weeks, you will be able to do it as a habit.
